Where’s My Hoverboard

Thank you for stopping by. My name is Chris and I have been working with computers for as long as I can remember, ahh. . . the Commodore 64. Though I am still waiting for my hover board and rocket shoes, I have seen technology change immensely in my lifetime. I have been actively working with computers and radio tech for the last 30 years and can’t imagine doing anything else.

As a child I was fascinated with radio and spent much of my time listening to old radio shows and music from every genre and generation. I knew that I wanted to work in radio, with computers, and my hover board. Well, most of that became a reality for me.

I’ve worked at 5 radio stations in San Diego, California, in every part of the industry, from music to talk radio, from board op to IT Manager. And I love it all! The bulk of my radio experience was at KPRZ and KCBQ radio. These sister stations are where I spent 18 years, wearing many hats and taking on the challenge of changing both stations over from analog to digital production and broadcasting. Working at these stations gave me the opportunity I had always wanted.

Please take a look around the site. I have posted samples of my radio and broadcasting skills. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Waiting for my hover board,

Chris Ragsdale
